Cannot insert a CD on the Mac.

I can no longer insert a CD on my Mac OSX... What should I do?

    Hello,

    Mac OS X is the system, not the model of the Mac that can be interesting to know, as well as the version of the system.

    Is there a CD stuck in the drive?

      Oops, sorry.... OSX Yosemite version 10.10.2
      How can I tell if there's a stuck CD in there? I've tried everything just in case there's one in the drive.

      Problem solved!!!!
      There was no CD in the drive.
      I simply turned off the Mac, turned it back on while pressing the eject key.
      There was an ejection sound even though the drive was empty and now it works!!!! So happy!!!!!!
