Connection Freebox Switch
Hello,
I would like to access the hard drive of my Freebox through a switch [See next image]. Despite several searches on Google, I can't find the solution.
I thought to use the fact that they are on the same local network and be able to access it quite easily directly without having any issues.
Additionally, I added a hard drive to my PC to store my movies without taking up too much space on my main hard drive, and I would like to know if it is possible to share ONLY this hard drive via sharing.
Configuration:
OS: Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Core i7
RAM: 8 GB
Storage: HDD 1 TB - SSD 32 GB - HDD 500 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 with 1.5 GB dedicated

Hi,
where’s the switch?
The problem is you added a router, not a switch…
a simple solution would be to turn your router into a switch/access point:
1/ disable the DHCP server on it and configure its LAN address to the address it takes on its WAN port in the Freebox network (first, you need to disconnect its WAN port).
then connect it to the Freebox, not through the WAN but through one of its LAN ports.
Everything should go smoothly.
and ... There you go!
