PC controller on PS4

Hello,

I currently have a PS3, and when I play with a friend, I connect my PC controller via USB to the console so we can play together (I only have one official PS3 controller).

Since I will soon be getting the PS4, I would like to know if the same method applies or if I must absolutely buy a second official PS4 controller to play together?
