Hi to all,
is it possible to directly launch an executable file inside an html
page opened with a browser?
As it happen as double-click on an executable file within Window
Explorer or other file manager.
That is, I want to spare the user the tipical Windows File Download
window pop-up asking the user to choose between open and save the
file

Imagine that if you had this option... anyone would be able to erase your hard disk!!! do you really want such option?!?!?!
As far as I know, it is possible after having installed some utility on the client comp (not only in the Web page) that is to say it is possible inside an Intranet.
