there is not really a standard format if we can say

html
xhtml
php
perl

and for web code there is css javascript etc etc
we can also name them via a special coding rtd frt anyway whatever you want

html is what you should know first.

If you create a page it will be mapage.html

PHP and Perl are not standards; besides, they are no longer present on the page once it is sent to the browser.

There are quite a few standards for the Web:

* CSS
* SVG
* XML
* XForms
* XPath
* XQuery
* RSS
* Atom
* XSLT
* ...

If you mean "standards" in the sense of "layout" or "size," there are none.
