Hello,
I wanted to know how to crop an image, that is to say, for example, to take only a part in the middle. I have version Inkscape 0.46 and I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Thanks

1. You create a frame of the size you want and position it on your image.
2. You select both (frame + image)
3. You go to Object > Clipping Path and click on Define
4. You export as bitmap in File > Export as Bitmap

Hi

You create a shape to the size you want and place it where you want to frame it.
You remove the fill or set the opacity to 0, and you save the selection as a bitmap.

Would it be possible to keep the vector format?

Thank you in advance

there is a way by editing the paths and removing them one by one
it depends on the complexity of the drawing

You create a shape to the size you want and place it where you want to frame it, then you select this shape and the image you want to crop and you do: Object / Crop / Define.

Thank you K6!!!
The object/cut/define works very well.
