Hello, I have an Ethernet cable that is way too long, is it possible to cut it, and if so how to do it.......thank you

it's totally doable but what do you mean by way too long... because given the price of the RJ45 cable (0.5m = 2.5 euros), it might not be worth getting into DIY!

It's doable, but afterwards to do it again you will need an RJ45 crimping tool and RJ45 connectors. Isn't it better to just buy a shorter one instead?

No problem, you can create a loop, you can have a 100 m long cable without signal loss.
