I searched for a long time, and I finally figured out what "mutual friend(s)" means.
It means that, on the profile of the person in question, the "friends" are those who are favorited, and the "mutual friends" are those who are not in that same person's favorites. There you go!
This reassured me because, on none of my friends' profiles, do I appear in the "mutual friends" category.
