Deezer more continuous listening

Question

Hello,

With Deezer, the songs from the search I had done were playing one after the other with a delightful fade.

For the past few days: I have to click on the next title, no more automatic play.

Annoying!

I have the same problem and honestly it's annoying me, I use the site a lot at
work and so I've gone back to using my CDs. I asked Deezer's customer service if I have any info

Indeed, we all lament the bug. I posted a message on the Deezer forum about it. No reaction and total silence from the Deezer organizers on this... Because of the holidays?

As a regular user of Deezer, I lament the suspension (or the end?) of the continuous playback mode. As a result, we are forced to display the Deezer page to change tracks and, consequently, to endure the ads that change with each song.
So, is this really a bug?

The bug is present both on Firefox and IExplorer, at work and at home.  I conclude that Deezer is to blame. What are they up to?!

I asked a friend if he had the same problem with Deezer, and he told me that the music always plays automatically for him... well, I think he’s on a Mac.
And there’s one thing that surprises me, you say that every time you click on a track an ad appears... I don’t have that problem, except for the ad on the right side of the screen; is that what you’re talking about?

In fact, when you type the name of your artist in the white box, and the list comes up, before clicking on the play icon of the first song.
You first need to click on one of the album names on the right.
And it will only play that album, but continuously.
It's not as good as before, but it's already something.

I answer myself and everyone: there is a checkbox to the right of the track to add it to the playlist if you want continuous listening with crossfade. It's a shame: we lose the beautiful discoveries that come by chance. But the sound quality is always fine.

--Yeah, according to the Deezer team (the pack of young wolves with sharp teeth) that runs the site, it's not a bug. It's a deliberate, commercial choice, I think. Still, they could have included a bit more communication; that’s the least you can do on the web!

From now on, I deal with this drawback (!) by creating a playlist after entering an artist's name. I name my playlist after the artist and check all the boxes according to my choice, at the far right of the list of displayed tracks, and finally I click on "add to a playlist"; and all that's left is to select the newly created playlist and click on "confirm." And from there, all the tracks flow exactly like in the good old days. It just takes a few little maneuvers. And nothing stops you from deleting the created playlist after listening, or keeping it for later listening. My regards to all the Deezerless; may they find comfort.

Jiwa is starting to show bad signs against total and free access to music. They have restricted their selection (a money issue with the major labels) and are asking internet users for financial contributions. In other words, Jiwa will soon follow the same policy as Deezer!

There is still Jamendo, which also allows free downloads :)) But there is a But... Jamendo is a site specialized in promoting amateur or non-established artists.
