    Hi,

    I discovered this little trick that answers the question posed by looking at the code of the themes that make up the WordPress CMS.
    It should be placed in the .css, of course ...

    text-shadow: ;

    For example: a { color: #ececec; text-shadow:1px 1px #000;}

    There you go, I think this should work for those interested ^_^.

    hi,

    you can create your writings with a graphic design software like Gimp, Photoshop, Fireworks.

    and then you can integrate your images into your site :)

      Hi Ricky38, thanks for your reply.
      Actually, I only know GIMP for graphic design, but I don't know how to achieve white letters with a black outline
      could you guide me through it in GIMP, that would be nice of you?

        you write your text
        then to choose your colors you have two small overlapping squares, one black and one white. The one on top is the foreground color and the one underneath is the background color.

        it's your turn to try :)

    hi

    I think it's impossible if you're talking about writing on an HTML page, because that will only be recognized by you (your PC) and not by others, so it has no interest.

    You can do it by making a jpg, but it will remain an image and not a font.
    Or create all the possible letters, make a pack to offer to your visitors, but good luck making it downloadable :)

    Hi,

    I would tell you that it's possible but by using a
    program like IcoFx.
    Very easy to use, I create my folder icons with it,
    you create your font just like on GIMP and then save it in the format
    "TrueType font file" which will allow you to use it on the web.

    I hope this helps you, see you!

    Here you go ricky38, I tried what you told me: it colors the letters well (by selecting a color for the foreground square) but it doesn’t do anything for the outlines, do you have any idea?

      I should test it because I don't use Gimp.

    Hello,

    There is a good article here that explains how to do it in GIMP: http://www.mulot.ch/gimp/pdf/lettrage.pdf

    Otherwise, it is possible to use shading (it might be enough to make the white letter stand out, that's what I do).
