Either you download music and it's not free. Or you download for free and it's not legal. Or you don't download at all.
(I'm only talking about protected works like movies or music). Fortunately, there are free and open-source software options available for download. :) -- MrSlave, the slave of these young ladies!

Salut, ça va ? Je veux savoir un site où je peux télécharger de la musique.
I'm not interested in the legal aspect, do you have a site where I can download for free?

Well, not the users of CCM.
If you read the charter, you will see that discussions regarding illegal downloads are prohibited. -- MrSlave, the slave of these young ladies!

Hi!
There's a little mistake in the equation, there are 4 parameters: download, legal, free, copyright-free.
And there, the 4 words go together! Cool, right?

There are plenty of good stuff, but don't expect to find the top 50, it's free music, sometimes from mediocre authors, sometimes from incredible ones who share their music for free.
You have to make the effort to form your own opinion like a grown-up, without TF1 or Skyrock telling you whether it's great or not.
Uh... just so you know, downloading works protected by copyrights can lead to severe penalties, so you will have to face the consequences the day you receive that famous letter. Otherwise, a good alternative is streaming (Deezer, Jiwa...).
An example: you buy an album from your favorite artist in a supermarket, 12 tracks, you pay around €19. You should know that between the supermarket, the distributor, taxes (VAT and others), distribution, production, and of course the label, the artist is left with hardly €1. If artists can no longer make a living due to illegal downloads, they will simply stop performing, and if no one makes music anymore, what will we listen to afterwards?
I am an artist and producer myself, and I can tell you that supermarkets are the ones who profit the most in this chain. If you want to ensure the longevity of your favorite artist while also enjoying yourself and staying within the law, I advise you to download from paid sites (generally less than €1 per track), a good compromise, right? Isn't it normal that someone who has spent hours, even months in the studio, rehearsing and singing should be able to earn money?
Every job deserves a salary; if you were an artist, you wouldn't want to be robbed. You incur huge expenses, and all that so that "those who love you" can exploit you... Think about it a little...
