How to fill areas with different dotted lines or hatching in black and white with Photoshop CS2? It's for a geographic map.

    Good evening,
    …select the desired area and Edit>fill…>pattern…
    …you can download dotted or hatching patterns from the internet…(or create them yourself)…
    …these are .pat files -for pattern- (search for dotted_patterns on good old google…)…

      I found a tutorial to create one, but I'll need to make several variations. That's where the ready-made brushes will help me save time.
