Hello,
I would like to find out how to curve a line of text for a transfer on a t-shirt, to place above a photo. Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

  Word... That's not professional... Use InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator, those are good layout software!

Insert menu / Image / Wordart
In the taskbar that appears:
Left window >/ Click on the menu / See the shapes you want.
Use all the formatting options from the taskbar. Click next to the text to return to the WORK page with your text.

Do you have a PowerPoint equivalent? In that case, you will certainly have the Word Art option or something similar. I don't know Works or Open Office.
Otherwise, if you often make t-shirts, try downloading Photofiltre, it's free and you can find plenty of tutorials to make cool stuff, for example, for rounded text:

First of all, I don't have WordArt on Work. And on PhotoFiltre, I couldn't find a way to create a curve with text. I'm not very skilled, as soon as I don't understand how to use it. Once I grasp the concepts, I stick with it and succeed. I must say, I'm 62 years old, and it’s not always easy to understand things all at once.
Thank you for enlightening me. For PhotoFiltre, I haven't found out how to download it. See you soon.

  I feel bad for insisting, but after all... since I'm 61 (years old!), there's no reason not to.
  Let's talk about Wordart in WORK;
  I tested it on mine and it works. I'm allowed to ask if you did the right manipulation
  Namely:
  In an open Work document, go to the taskbar, click on insert, choose image from the menu, in the submenu, on "my" Work, "Wordart" appears, among other options, by clicking on it, the function opens and you can place text in a circle, even if the possibilities are not as extensive as in Word.
  If that doesn't work, you may have to find competent software! If you give us the list of what you have, we might be able to help you better.

    In my Works software from 2005, I don't have the "WordArt" link; maybe I need to update this software, but I still found something with a printing studio software from Micro Application that I had for a long time and had not installed. Thank you very much for the information.

On PowerPoint, create a rounded shape, then write inside it. Next, in "Format," then "Effects," and "Transform," select "Circle" under Follow Path.
If the circle is still displayed, you can set the object to white.
Hope this helps!

Advice applicable on Mac with PowerPoint Pro 11.

Use WordArt in Word or Excel (if needed in the Drawing toolbar).
