Hello,
please give as much detail as possible. Very well. All I know is that I have Windows Vista and for the past two weeks I've been trying to download eMule servers in the form of .met files. I learned that I have the 32-bit version and that my computer cannot open this stuff. Every time it offers me Windows Live Search which leads me to a page where I am prompted to scan my disk and install a mechanical toolbox, the stupid thing. Because I tried! The first time the eMule installer offered to replace my .met file with .met.old. This time, impossible. Please, what should I do? I've been surfing the net and forums for two weeks, and I just learned how to enter and post a message. I’m too old to keep going in circles. Anyway, how do you download eMule servers on Windows Vista, what codecs should I download to open them, or what manipulation? Thank you, thank you in advance to the person who takes the time to respond.

The list of eMule servers opens with Notepad
it won't do you any good to open it, follow Darnautilus's advice to get an up-to-date list
and be careful that Vista's security settings don't prevent you from installing eMule (which seems to be the case with your redirection to live-search, after attempting to install the server list)

        Hello,

To download the list of eMule (or eChanblard) servers, enter the link next to the server list (field "Update server.met from URL"):

        http://server.eChanblard.org/server.met

There you go, I hope I could help you.

        See you later

        DN.
