Utorrent and file relocation
Solvedchristianf -
I just reinstalled my Windows and I've replaced my torrents (finished and ongoing) on another hard drive and I also changed the names of the folders. But now I can't set up uTorrent to reorganize everything. So if someone could help me that would be great...
THANKS in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.7

Hello everyone.
I am aware of your method for solving this problem, but I have over 500 torrents located on different drives. It takes hours every time I move my *.torrent files. Is there not another method to reassign the "seeding torrents" to the new folder containing the *.torrent files? A batch method?
Thank you in advance. -
Thank you, but I found the solution.
I just had to take the torrents from the new folder and drag them into the Utorrent software, then verify them. And then the Baby is back on track.
But thanks again.-

You remove your torrent file from the list and put it in the folder where you have the files, then you add it to µTorrent, then right-click "check" and that's it ;)
I did about that.
In uTorrent, I removed the stubborn file from the list (right click/delete).
Then I searched for the corresponding .torrent file (in the folder I had assigned to .torrent files - see in the preferences of uTorrent-options/preferences/folders).
I clicked on this file, confirmed in the window that opened, which restarted the download in uTorrent.
I then requested a forced check (right click on the file in the list) and uTorrent checked and validated my file.
If the check doesn't work, I told uTorrent again where to find the file (right click on the file/advanced options/download folder) and I choose the folder that contains the desired file (or folder).
Note: you must not choose the desired file or folder but the folder that contains this file (or folder).
In any case, you really helped me, luuuu.
Thank you.
Life is more beautiful now.
