PC assez lent : comment vérifier ma RAM ?

Bonjour,

J'utilise un laptop HP Nc 6000 depuis 4ans. Il tourne sous Windows 2000 Pro.
Il commence à devenir relativement lent... Est-il possible que j'ai besoin de mémoire supplémentaire ?
Comment effectuer un diagnostic et l'interpréter ?
On m'a parlé de Everest

Je n'y connais pas grand chose, suis plutôt un 'littéraire' ;-)

    j suis un utilisateur de xp mais j ne sais ps c'est ca va marcher sous widows 2000

    tu as la commande executer?
    tu tape dedans dxdiag et tu trouve ta memoire RAM juste devant toi

    non pas de rapport a moins que tu ne sache pas exactement la config de ton pc il me faut : proc ram, disque dur, crte graphique si il y a, age du pc et les mise a jour si il y a les service pack aussi.

    télécharge memtest et vérifie ta RAM, attention le test est très long.

    Je ne sais pas de quand date ta dernière defragmentation, mais fais-en une.

    ok niquel en faite tu peux rajouter un peux de ram ça ne fera pas de mal au pc c sur mais pourquoi tu ne passe pas avec xp. tu serais moins embeter enfin sinon essai le programme ccleaner pour faire le menage.

      - ca semble ok donc ? mais comment choisir le ram, sa taille, sa vitesse, etc... et l'installer sur un laptop ? faut ouvrir la 'boîte' ? ;-) et comment lire le diagnostic de ma ram actuelle ? est-elle bonne ?
      - j'ai peur de perdre des infos en upgradant à XP... mais faudra bien se faire une raison ;-)
      - Vais checker avec Ccleaner mais ne sais trop que vérifier / nettoyer etc...

      Je pense également que j'ai trop de programmes qui démarrent automatiquement lors du boot de mon pc.
      Comment vérifier celà ?

      désolé de ne pas avoir répondu aux autres intervenants, j'ai l'impression que faire trois trucs en même temps ca va créer des 'embrouilles' auxquelles je ne pige que dalle ;-)))

    pour ta ram c'est simple c'est de la PC2700 DDR SDRAM apres tu prend ca que tu veut comme quantiter une 512 ou 1Gou + c'est comme tu veux et bien entendu ta ram actuel est en parfaite santé et pour le xp le mieux si un jour tu veux l'instaler c'est de sortir toutes tes donnees et les mettre soit sur un dd externe ou sur dvd. mais bon t'en ais pas la. si tu as d'autre questions n'hestite pas
