I suggest using a script of this style, to be customized to meet your needs:

If it can help, I used this script to delete backups older than 15 days on a server:

I can imagine when a user comes to ask you why they can't find their client file that they haven't opened in a month and a half...

OUI but that is not likely to happen, everyone is aware of it and these are not essential archives, so do you have a script idea?

And what do you do with source files older than a month? :D

There is no source file; it is to erase on a server where only data is stored.

Is it necessarily in a .bat file? A small executable written in C++ would be very easy to create, for example.

But I don't specifically want to delete system files, but every day new files arrive on my server and I don't want to keep them for more than a month. I want the script to go down the directory tree and delete all files that are too old.
