Remove lyrics from a song Solved/Closed

Hi! Does anyone know of a software (or a simple method) to "remove" the lyrics from a song (only hear the music)? No matter the format of the tracks... Thanks!

Hi everyone, on my side, I use Audacity and I find that it does a really good job. In this very simple software, you can record yourself using a microphone or even edit a song you already have. To remove the vocals, you just need to import your song, then go to the EFFECTS tab in the top menu bar, then select Vocal Remover and click OK. That’s it, you’ve successfully removed the vocals. Note that some songs are difficult to isolate, especially techno or electronic songs, otherwise there’s no problem.

P.S. for those who would like to record with a microphone, those from Rock Band and Guitar Hero are compatible with the software. Have fun!!!

It's very simple. Start by importing your song (File -> Import -> Audio) once your song is imported, go to the top menu bar and select EFFECT. Then click on Vocal Remover (at the bottom of the list), click ok and there you go.
Note that for certain songs, the resulting file may not be perfect, however, for having fun or creating a little karaoke with friends, it’s great.
With version 1.2.6 of Audacity, the vocal remover option is not available.
