Hello,
I would like to know if anyone uses Landesk for anything other than remote access to workstations; I read online that it is used for quite a few things like asset management or incident management for a help desk...
In the context of asset management and remote access, what are the basic configurations of Landesk? What are the working possibilities?

Thank you very much, a future user of Landesk
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Can you provide me with a presentation of Landesk Management Suite?

Hello, personally I use it to manage the software and hardware inventory, the PMAD, the OS and application teledistribution, the provisioning of posts, and also on the servers.
We will also take the service desk (fully interfaced with the first solution) and the patch manager (much better than the one from Altiris).
If this can help.
Have a nice day.

Hello.

For my part, I frequently use LANDesk as part of my work. In fact, what you need to know about this tool is that it is used to observe and manage the events that occur on the workstations of a computer network.

In a given domain, LANDesk is capable of providing a complete listing of the hardware, software, system configuration, and even the users who connect to it.
Once LANDesk has analyzed the server data, it allows you to remotely distribute applications to any user workstation on the network. To do this, you must schedule deployment tasks that can be either small-scale or large-scale. These are tasks that you create step by step to perform a clean installation. There is notably the possibility to deploy an application in cache mode on the workstations so that installations can be performed even when the workstation is disconnected, while maintaining the urgency criteria of the scheduled installation. You have a whole range of options for planned remote distribution. The idea is to be able to control all the events on a network while also being able to interact with the same interface to upgrade the computer systems of companies as much as possible.
That’s what I can tell you about LANDesk.

Hello,

LAnNesk is a software that allows remote access to the machines in the park, but it also enables the deployment of operating system images, software distribution, patches, updates, and much more...

In any case, this software is awesome, but you're going to lose some hair, man.
