Hello, I would like to know how I can restore Windows to a previous date. Thank you
Configuration: Windows 2000 Internet Explorer 6.0

    Alas, you can’t do anything because it’s unavailable on Windows 2000; you must reformat your computer to Windows XP.

    In Windows 2000, the Restore function is not available...

    Try sfc /scannow in Run, maybe that will be enough if it's just a problem with corrupted system files, unless you no longer have access to the desktop. In that case, you'll need to reboot from the CD and then try to repair in console mode.

    Last resort, reinstall Windows 2000.

    For security, I advise you to install Windows XP SP2 on your computer, as it is more stable than Windows 2000 Pro. Windows XP is compatible with all computers, but you will need to find updated drivers for Windows XP.
