Hello,  Registered at Film Downloads and charged €27 on October 2 without being able to access the downloads or send a message, the letter is returned to me. Is this a scam or a mistake? Everything seems to be in order on my side.  Chimene21

I just requested a refund from PayPal for my commitment, because it was seeing  this "trust" emblem that led me to commit. So they should take responsibility. Hello,  I stumbled upon this site quite by chance on Saturday night while doing some research. At first glance, it looks very attractive given the price compared to the service offered. I had questions about this proposal considering the current controversy surrounding music and movie downloads, but I accepted. Who wouldn't?  I just received their email to sign up, of course in my spam folder, and while searching to revisit their site, I came across your forum instead of their page. So apparently, based on your posts, this is a nice scam as I suspected, and personally, I would not take the risk.  I thank this forum and its participants for sharing their (bad) experiences that warn us, and may it serve those who come after me to avoid such things by boycotting them.  Having very little time on my hands and therefore no time to find where to post something new,  I REPORT THAT THE SITE www.tvadio (webtv) GIVES US A VIRUS ON THE FIRST CLICK ON THEIR SITE NAME TO ACCESS IT.  ANOTHER SITE ALSO GIVES A VIRUS. I can't remember the name, but I will look it up and will definitely come back to report it to you.  Thank you.

Tricked in grand style. We lost 28 euros, but I hope we at least learned one thing: to check and recheck the authenticity of websites before giving them money. I must admit that I tried to get a refund from Paypal: it went unanswered!!
Everyone who gets caught should do like me: send an email to the site
through which they got the "download ...." address and request its removal
or even "indemnification" for misleading advertising leading to a scam.
However, after doing a serious study in this area, know that
I subscribed to "USENEXT" for 9 € / month which allows you to download
up to 30 Giga per month. It works VERY smoothly, and it is VERY easy to

Hello again, I filed a complaint with Paypal and telechargement-films.net, I told them that I had contacted a consumer protection association, and yesterday I received an email saying that they were refunding me in full. (They were supposed to keep 5.50 euros in fees, which is completely illegal) So, do like me. It will be helpful for everyone.

I also got deceived; it's false advertising. You can't download like with Megaupload; it's the principle of file sharing that takes 50 billion light-years to be viewed. It's completely outdated, especially since you can download free software like Emule.
I sent them an email to get a refund; we'll see. I don't want to dispute the charge because that would force me to change my bank card, but one thing I'm sure of is that they don't have my card number to make withdrawals from my account since PayPal is still reliable. Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one getting tricked, scammed, ha! ha! ha!

Like all of you, I have fallen victim to this scam. I wanted to pay to legally download movies, and well, that didn't work out. This is where honesty leads us these days. I'm disappointed; luckily, it's not a huge amount. I paid for a year, which is €24.95. I just contacted PayPal by phone, and they told me they can't do anything and that I need to file a complaint. I tried to contact the site telechargementfilm.net, but no one is responding to my emails, and there’s no phone number, so I don’t even know if I will be refunded (€24.95 - €5.50 for fees). So right now, you have to be careful about everything and trust nothing; it's disheartening.

It's really a scam, I regret telling you this so directly. You can go to the site and write in 'create', they send you a receipt response and that's it, it stops there, nothing more, I was waiting not wanting to believe it and yet 32.95 has vanished.

Some tips to help you detect fraudulent sites:  - a website is a showcase, your site there has only one working link, the one to pay !!!!  - www.whois.sc, enter the domain name in the box if you only get English references for an unknown site in France (not google, dell or hp) and there’s a 95% chance you are on a scam, casino, or porn site. In France, anyone cannot just do business, it requires having a registered address, SIRET, and all the formalities, whereas in the United States, anyone can.  - STOP wanting to download AT ALL COSTS even for a ridiculous price ... €30 for 2 years of unlimited downloads, doesn’t that seem suspicious to you when A SINGLE DVD costs €30 and a song €1 on the web from real distributors????  I am not a protector of copyright and DRMs far from it. In open-source development, we work for the beauty of the code and the contribution to the community, often on our own time ... so why not artists, they too are supposed to be passionate, believing that all the fools who pass through Star Ac' and other television nonsense are also passionate. The difference is that they are self-centered POINT BAR. Selfish people who are almost sure that plenty of fools will buy their anti-cultural music, totally formatted so that those who lack taste can listen to it without thinking too much about the world around them.  Downloading cheap stuff that should cost a lot, is like buying meat at LIDL, you know it’s definitely worse than from the butcher but you buy it anyway because you want meat and then you complain that the meat is disgusting ... and you go back two days later. A tip, eat pasta for two days and treat yourself to a really good steak on the third day, you’ll be sure not to be disappointed (it’s an allegory, not all butchers are necessarily experts in choosing their cuts of meat). Hello everyone, I registered in early July on TechMonkey for €32.95 for unlimited access, and I admit it's been quite a challenge. By picking through your questions and answers and searching the internet, I managed to figure it out, and now I can download music and movies. Here’s the path to get there, and I hope I'm not mistaken: for the username, type loginA770 and the password: merci1. Then download LimeWire 4.16.7, followed by the Java software, then download a codec: ace mega codecs, and finally Media Player Classic. It’s a bit long, but you can do it. LimeWire is a file-sharing site, so you also need to contribute new files to benefit those from whom you take movies. Be careful with the movies; only choose those in AVI and in French, otherwise they won't play on a normal DVD player. Good luck, and let me know if you succeeded!
