Hello,

Here is my problem: I cleaned the keyboard on my HP laptop because previously I had spilled sugary drinks on it, so they started sticking. For cleaning I removed the key and the small scissor mechanism to also clean underneath. Everything goes well with the cleaning for the other keys, but I have a problem when reattaching the keys in the row including the Esc key and the F1, F2... keys. When reassembling the scissor mechanisms (if anyone has a good site to order scissor mechanisms I’m interested because I’ve broken a few), and putting the key back on, the key either gets stuck in the lowered position (stays pressed) or it doesn’t stay pressed but the clips at the bottom don’t hold (they come off). Nothing is broken for this key, whether the scissor mechanism or the key retaining clips, I don’t understand why I’m getting these two situations. If someone can help me that would be really great.

Thanks

    Hello,

What is the exact model of your H. P. PC?

Because at this rate you’d better replace the keyboard as a whole.
