Hello everyone,

I just read the article about the Roole Map app. It might be free, great, and ad-free, but it doesn't inform that apart from the region numbers below, others cannot access it, and it's not recognized by this application, only for France, Switzerland, and overseas territories. I don't see the point of being so restrictive?? And it's only after installing it that this is pointed out??

As noted in the thread about "sponsored content", we don't really see how this reinvents the wheel as compared to certain downloadable mapping apps like Maps Me that you can use offline.

Internet in cars is somewhat a matter of perspective depending on the area, but to get local information even on a pre-downloaded map (traffic jams), there will need to be a data connection.
