Hello,

Today I received a weird email:

"We noticed a login attempt on your account @*********** that seems suspicious. Was that you?

If it was you

As a security measure, before you log into this account, you will need to confirm that it is indeed you by entering the one-time code below.

********

If it wasn't you Follow these steps now to protect your account.

  • Change your password. You will be logged out of all your active X sessions except the one you are currently using.
  • Review the apps that have access to your account and revoke access to those you do not recognize. Learn more"

It’s been a while since I last logged into X, and when I do, I use the login from my Google account which is linked to a different email address than the one where I received this email. My mailbox certifies this address: "***@***".

Is this a scam?

Hello

No.

Either you have logged in from an unusual place

or someone has tried to access your account (hacking).

;)

As I mentioned earlier in my message, I use my Google account to log in; if that were the case, I would have received a notification in my Gmail inbox stating that I am logging into X, but with this email, I received nothing from Google.
