Hello

I am using Windows 10 and I have learned that security updates will soon be coming to an end.

Therefore, in order to avoid upgrading to Windows 11 or buying a new computer, I have decided to switch to Linux.

Can you tell me the steps to follow to install Linux and clarify that if I install it now, I will no longer be able to return to Windows 10?

Hello,

It's true that all of this depends on your skills, your time, and your involvement.

Linux distributions are not perfect; sooner or later, you will have to get your hands dirty.

It’s also possible to migrate to Windows 11 by forcing the installation with a registry addition.

In any case, in case of a problem, you need to back up your data and have a bootable USB drive to reinstall Windows or Linux.

You also need to know how to use the BIOS to navigate and be familiar with some partitioning features.

Knowing how to install an operating system is really the basics in computing, and there are tons of tutorials available, don’t rely on me to explain it from A to Z.

Thank you for your response.

Can you tell me the website that would inform me about migrating to Windows 11?

Hello,

Yes, you can roll back if you create a disk image beforehand.

And create a bootable USB stick to restore later with this Giveaway program (Free)

(Note: Giveaways are not eternal, to take advantage of them, you shouldn't wait).

Then for Windows 11, on a not too old incompatible PC, there is Flyoobe (Flyby11)
