Hello,

I am using version atube catcher 10.10.0.0, which has been very effective so far, but now I see the message that the file has been downloaded correctly, but could not be transcoded. What should I do?

Good morning

Most of the errors after a download are

- The file got corrupted during the download, the first thing to try is simply to re-download it.

For now, we don't even understand yet whether it's a piece of music that we can't do anything with or the program that is malfunctioning.

Hello,

I don't understand anything about this kind of software, but it is likely that the error does not come from the download itself but from its inability to convert (transcode) the downloaded media because it doesn't know how to handle the format in question.

Regarding the download itself, one must of course take into account the eternal story of the cop and the thief, where a number of sites may set up new streams to prohibit downloading in accordance with their terms of use.

Thank you, but I had already done the manipulation... I tried with several songs, and always with the same result... I noticed that all the files offered for download were in Kilobits, whereas until now, they were in Megabits. Maybe that's a clue?

Good evening,

Problem solved by uninstalling (+restarting PC) and reinstalling the application (+restarting PC).

Thank you to everyone who responded.
