Hello, I have a Korg 888. I want to use it for sound reinforcement during performances. I can't understand the position to set this 888 for it to sound right. I have already recorded and heard these recordings. On another note, is it possible to connect this 888 with another mixing console like the Yamaha 01v96? Thank you for your answers. Best regards, P@t

Hello,
See this excerpt from the manual for your Korg D888 mixing console to get an idea of the possible connections.
Hello,
The Korg 888, by itself, cannot amplify anything.
It is a mixing console to which an amplifier and speakers or powered speakers are connected, possibly multiple pairs depending on the size and configuration of the space to be amplified.
Microphones, playback tables, tape recorders, or musical instruments can be connected to a console.
The arrangement and power of the speakers must be managed to ensure the best sound based on the acoustics (echoes, reverberation, feedback effect) and the number of people present in the space.
It is also important to consider that the electrical environment (transformers, lighting, household appliances) can produce unwanted noise in the sound system.
The coupling of a second console is justified only if you do not have enough inputs on the first one and does not seem justified if you are just starting out.
In other words, sound reinforcement is not just about equipment but also about acquired theoretical knowledge (particularly on acoustics and audio correction) and practice.
