Snapchat friends bug: Unable to add?

Hello, so actually I blocked my ex on Snap, and when I add him back I can't see his Bitmoji anymore, and it's impossible for him to receive my friend request and for me to receive his, I can't add him back even though we unblocked each other, I've tried everything: clearing the cache, deleting Snap, logging out, turning off the phone, but to no avail, I can't do it, thanks for helping me, it's really annoying.
