Video issue with SJRC F11 drone

No, it is not normal to activate Bluetooth to get a video feed. The SJRC F11 drone uses a Wi-Fi connection to transmit video and control signals. Make sure your drone and controller are properly connected to Wi-Fi.

The video range is limited to about 600 meters in open space. If you can only get around 75 meters, this may be due to interference from other Wi-Fi signals or other obstacles. Try flying your drone in a clear area with minimal obstacles and interference.

As for the lack of recording on the SD card, first make sure the SD card is properly inserted and compatible with your drone. Class 10 SD cards are generally recommended. If that doesn't solve your problem, you can try reformatting the SD card.

Also, don't forget to check that video recording is activated in the app settings. Sometimes, the drone is set by default to record videos directly to the connected phone rather than to the SD card.

The issue with the SD card on the drone was resolved by formatting the card through the app; I had done it on the computer in FAT32, but it needs to be formatted through the app and not the computer.

However, my biggest problem is the range. I tried it on 4 different smartphones and on several terrains, including my very open modeling field. To get the image, the SJRC app asks me to enable Bluetooth to allow pairing, which is not normal! Is there something that needs to be activated in the settings? By the way, I noticed a small red LED inside the drone next to the grille! Is that normal?
