Hello
I just bought the Moto E13 yesterday and I'm having the same issue.
The app is shown as incompatible in the Play Store.
But I thought it should work without the app, naively on the phone or with Google Assistant.
But it doesn't work at my place.
In the car, other phones connect to Android without any issues too.
Does anyone have a solution?
Hello
I'm running late, I was still at 2021.
Android Auto was no longer supposed to be compatible with Android 12.

And in 2022 on Pixels that received Android 13, and those that got Android 12 instead. We're not talking about Moto phones or Android Auto yet, just about operating systems; the compatibilities are already unclear.

Is it one per year or have they returned to compatibility?
In 2023, it didn't seem compatible, but Android 13 with your phone.

In 2024, something that was more compatible in 2021 with the old operating system, the new operating system not compatible with your phone, will the car, through your phone not compatible with the new operating system, be able to connect with the application that was already no longer compatible with the old operating system? So in 2020, four years ago, they had created an application designed to work in the car.
In the end, it was working on phones they put in cars.
You'll also need to look at the car. It's an embedded system in each manufacturer. In the car.
It's the one that manages the entire car, the safety and everything. Brakes, steering, airbags, and seat belts.
Maybe you should pass the question on the programming forum.
By the way, there's one for €86 today on Amazon for the Moto E13.
Hello,
As you were told, Android Auto has disappeared since Android 12, as far as I remember.
It would be replaced by Google Assistant.
There may be an automatic incorporation for Android versions above 12; Android Auto works on my Android 13 without it appearing in the installed applications and without me having downloaded anything.
