Hello,
I'm currently building my first PC and I can't find a reset switch cable in the case, is this normal? If not, is this a common issue and do I just need to buy one?

Hey
Is there at least a reset button on your case's manual?
I don’t even remember if I have one under my desk since I hardly ever use it. And I haven't checked if there’s still one everywhere.
Sometimes it's just a cable that connects to the motherboard for the front, at least you don't have to search.
Normally you shouldn't have to buy extra cables, right? If it's new, you just plug in what’s provided and, again, some cables have never been used; if you only knew what’s hidden in all the cases...
In any case, it shouldn’t stop you from using the PC; it won't cause a failure if it’s not there, there’s no fire in the lake.
Sometimes the cables are connected in pairs to small connectors; the identifier isn’t written on one of the cables by deduction.
Hello.
To add to Paul's response,
your motherboard may have a Reset function, but if your case doesn’t have this button, it’s normal for the corresponding wires to be absent; in that case, just forget about it.
It’s up to you to do a little tinkering and create this function with a push button, wires, and the appropriate connector... but honestly, it’s unnecessary.
Just know that holding down the power button on the computer for 10 seconds allows you to turn it off, and then you can press it again as if you're turning it on... it’s the same thing.
Hey
If you post some photos, we might be able to find out.
