Hello,

I have an error code while updating BotW to be able to play it, the update doesn't finish and shows me this error code 162-4064, I've tried everything but nothing works, I don't understand anything, I just bought the game...

Hello, the problem may either come from the disc (if you purchased the physical version of the game), from your external storage device (if you're using one), or from your console.

First of all, you can try deleting the game update data (if there is any) in the console settings -> Data Management.

If you are using an external storage device, turn off the console and unplug your external storage so that only the console's memory is used. Then, try updating the game again.

If the problem persists: the update may fail if the game disc is defective or scratched. If you can, have your BOTW disc exchanged for another one.

If the problem continues even with another disc, it may be that the issue comes from the console's memory, but in this case, the console will need to be repaired. It would still be strange for the problem to be with the Wii U if the update error for BOTW is the only issue encountered.
