Hello,

I recently bought a PS5. I transferred my data from my PS4 to my PS5. I would like to reset my PS4 to sell it. If I reset it using the settings — initialization — reset — complete, will I remove everything on the PS4 but everything will remain on the PS5? Basically, if I reset my PS4, will I also lose the data from my account that is on my PS5?

Hello,

If you're hesitating, disconnect your PS5 from the network and turn it off. Then proceed to reset (factory reset) your PS4, turn it off and unplug it from its power source.

You can reconnect your PS5 again. The PS4 will no longer be present.
