Thomson 55ua6406 TV malfunction

Hello,

I have a problem with a Thomson TV 55ua6406.

When I unplug the right cable from the TCom, the TV works fine on one half. When the left cable is unplugged, there’s no picture.

There’s a power sound except when the right cable is disconnected.

When I tap on the screen, there are sparks.

I suspect the Tcom board, what do you think?

Best regards,

Loïc

    Hello Moic35,

Video tutorial replacement T-com board (Samsung): also check the tutorials on the right side.

"When I unplug the right ribbon cable": normal, the board handles 2 half screens! But referring to the ribbon cable as "right" and "left" makes no sense!
    ► From which view?
► Which part of the screen is working? (flexible strip on the left side and right part of the screen?)

Note: Since you are capable of disassembling this board, I advise you to replace it rather than repair it (unless you have serious knowledge in electronics).

But before buying it, make sure to check the references and compatibility of the brands.
    Good luck!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

According to you, is it the tcom that is out of order? Or can I blame another one?

      Hello Loic35,
It's a "possibility", in any case, those are not dead pixels on the screen!
