Infrared diode failure on Schaub Lorenz LT19-28684 TV

Hello,

the green LED does not light up. The red one stays on. The TV works with the buttons on the side but not with the remote control. The USB port cannot be used as it only connects with the remote control.
The issue might be with the infrared connection.
Has anyone resolved this problem?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

    check at least the remote control !!!
    change the batteries for new ones
    then see if it works

    the process is easy if you have a camera, you hold the remote in front of the lens, press the buttons, if it works you will see the LED light up .......................
