DirectX issue

Hello,

I have a new PC, Windows 11 Pro with DirectX 12, but I'm having trouble launching certain games: "the following components are required to run this program: directx runtime."

I have tried reinstalling it, but the installation gets stuck at "initialization"... then it fails...

If a kind soul has a miraculous solution, I would be grateful :) :)

Best regards

Is your graphics card powerful enough to use DirectX 12 and is its driver up to date?

    Good evening :)

Sapphire rx 6700 xt graphics card with updated drivers.

If it turns out it's not powerful enough, I don't know how to uninstall DirectX12 for an earlier version.

    Thank you.

    Strange...

But if you say you couldn't install it, it shouldn't be installed.

You just need to install an earlier version directly.

    Hello,

Yes, indeed, but I do have DirectX 12 installed, according to the Windows diagnostic I ran. I tried to download DirectX from the Microsoft website, but when launching it, it gets stuck on INSTALLATION OF COMPONENTS, initialization.

And I don't know how to uninstall it so that I can properly reinstall version 11.

    Hello,

After several investigations, it turns out that when I try to install a game (any game), with a proposal to update DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++, it fails (it cannot start the download for the update search).

If anyone has a solution to fix this DirectX issue :) :)
