Good evening,

.

For more details on the problem I encountered:

https://droit-finances.commentcamarche.com/forum/affich-9099600-conduite-a-tenir-arnaque

.

In the case of a public printer:

A contactless card payment adds credit to the machine

Then the machine "does not work", no solution and no refund offered by the employee, the customer can go **** themselves and the credit remains on the device

.

Subsequently, will only the credited amount, which will therefore be used by other people, be debited from the card or can the machine deduct an additional amount while retaining the card data in memory?

.

Is there a risk that the card could be hacked, as the session on the machine remains "in progress" (credit pending to be used)?

.

Thank you for your help

Hello,

During a contactless payment, the card data is not stored...

The payment terminal processes the payment for the requested amount at the moment you tap the card... and that's it. (Like you had slipped coins into a coin-operated machine...)

.
Best regards,
Jordane
