Hello.

I bought a Pixel 7 that works very well and I've taken a series of photos that I am looking at on this mobile.

When trying to view these photos on my computer, I can't do it.

I connect my Pixel 7 via cable. The driver downloads correctly and my mobile shows up properly on my computer, but when I click on PIXEL 7, it displays "Empty folder" even though there are indeed a series of photos.

In the mobile settings, I have checked "Allow" for access to photos and videos.

The same issue occurs on other computers.

What should I do?

Thank you for your advice.

Hi

In fact, there are several methods to try between mobile and PC, 3 more tutorials

By Microsoft, by Pixel, by Google:

(It seems to say that the photos are not in the directory where you're looking too... but from here I don't know, I don't have a Pixel 7 to reproduce)

Hi,

To unlock the phone with a PC:
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.
On your phone, tap the notification: "Charging via USB for this device".
Under "Use USB for", select: File Transfer.
A file transfer window opens on the computer.

You can use it to move files by drag-and-drop.

When the operation is complete, eject your phone from Windows.
Unplug the USB cable.

Hello.

Having tried everything, including USB debugging (Developer options), I couldn't resolve the issue.

This evening, I simply performed a reset of the device.

Upon restart, a little miracle happened: the USB settings were incremented in the notification shade and I was able to select my device and transfer files. Opening the folders is now possible.

Thank you for your help in resolving this issue.

Have a good week.
