Hello,
I have a Ciel Compta software from 2000, I installed it on an old computer to be able to access it. But I can't get the window to enter the unlocking key that Ciel provided me.
There's a procedure, but I can't find out which one it is.

I'm not sure, Sage's policy is consistent: all current software operates on a subscription basis only, and everything we've been told has shown that the publisher refuses any support including licensing for the older versions they sold.
Regarding obsolescence, it doesn't matter much in accounting; the software must allow the creation of new accounting accounts if necessary and configure a VAT rate which, generally speaking, is not calculated but entered manually; where the issue lies is with cash register software and enterprise resource planning software that indirectly use it and must be secure regarding VAT.

Actually, my issue is simply to enter the unlocking key into my software. Sage provided it to me, but no window opens to allow me to input it. I seem to recall, though it’s a distant memory, that there was a method to make this window appear. This goes back a long way, so maybe old users like me can remember.
