Conversion of the alphabet to binary

we don't write the alphabet in binary per se, but we use a code that represents a character as a number.
The most well-known is the ASCII code.
In this code:
- A is represented by the number 65. This can be written as 01000001 in binary (or 41 in hexadecimal)
- B is represented by the number 66. This can be written as 01000010 in binary (or 42 in hexadecimal)
etc.
- a is represented by the number 97. This can be written as 1100001 in binary (or 61 in hexadecimal)

For example, you can type the character codes in the notepad instead of the letters. Just hold down the ALT key, and while keeping it pressed, enter the code, then release it before moving on to the next code. Try with 83 108 116

Sorry in advance for the mistakes, I'm still just a student. So you talked about an alphabet in binary. My friend and I write coded messages in binary code and here's how we proceed:

Given that there are 26 letters in the alphabet, we said 1 for a, 2 for b, and so on up to 26. So it gave a very interesting result.

First, you have to understand that 0=closed and 1=open

Next, you need to know that you start from the right going to the left when reading a binary code.

And finally, you should know that the first digit starting from the right means the number one, the second digit means the addition of the first digit by itself, which is 1+1, the third digit means the addition of the second digit by itself, which is 2+2, and so on...

For example, if I have........................111=1+2+4=7 and the 7th letter of the alphabet is g

If I have.......................010101=1+4+16=21 and the 21st letter of the alphabet is u

If I have.......................000000001=1 because the 0s are closed, so the digit it hides does not get added
as I did in the previous example.

So to check if you understood, I propose you translate this into French hint: it’s a word

a=1 b=2 c=3 d=4 e=5 f=6 g=7 h=8 i=9 j=10 k=11 l=12 m=13 n=14 o=15 p=16 q=17 r=18 s=19 t=20

The explained process is quite long... well, I think so...

The binary code is a table of exponents of 2, starting from the right, 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1

The coded string in eight bits (one bit = two possibilities: 0 or 1) gives a string of zeros and ones to represent a desired number

If we want to know what 00000101 represents for example
we multiply the 1s by the hidden exponent
starting from 0:
--> 2 exponent 0=1
2 exponent 1=2
2 exponent 2=4
.... ----> so the number 00000101 = ???

And so if we want a number like 69 in binary
69:2=34 remainder=1
34:2=17 remainder=0
17:2=8 remainder=1
8:2=4 remainder=0
4:2=2 remainder=0
2:2=1 remainder=0
1:2=0 remainder=0 if we read the remainders upwards you have the binary code :)

For the letters, see the ASCII code mentioned above, coded on 16 bits to have more "possibilities" than just letters and symbols...
A list of codes exists on your PC, you can find it by pressing alt and a number from the numeric keypad...

For example, if I press alt and 45, release alt, a dash is written--> -
alt 46 = Ê
alt 47 = /
alt 48 = 0
...
