Hello,

Like many of you, I can no longer receive the TF1 channels.

Today, we went to a hardware store where we were sold an OPTEX 709540 device and of course, it doesn't work... Or maybe we just don't know how to install it.

We are very, very inexperienced, or rather I should say CLUELESS about all this, if anyone passes by and can lend us a hand, or a tip to finally get our channels back ;-)

Good evening everyone!!!

Thank you for your response, but we have a Samsung TV that we can't download MyTF1 on (yeah, we’re not great at this).

But what about this box, can it work or not?

      Hello,

It seems that this is a satellite receiver that can only receive encrypted TNT channels via TNT SAT through a TNT SAT decoder, back to square one unless we can receive the channels via FRANSAT, which also requires an appropriate decoder and proper adjustment of the satellite dish.

    Hello,

    What is your reception method?

    A roof antenna?

    Satellite?

    Good evening,

The reception is via satellite and we have a TNT box.

Not very clear, which TNT box? Terrestrial? Satellite? What is its full reference?

In any case, this Optex demodulator is "free to air" and can only receive clear channels, as already mentioned by "brucine" above, to be returned to the incompetent seller.

    Two solutions:

TNT SAT on Astra 19.2° East
    Fransat on Eutelsat 5° West

In both cases, a labeled decoder "TNT SAT" or "Fransat" is necessary (it's written on it), available everywhere starting from €100 (with its card valid for 4 years).

Thank you very much, indeed we will bring it back.

We have TNT SAT boxes, with the famous card valid for 4 years but we no longer have the TF1 channels, hence our problem.

You're welcome, and it's to be hoped that this situation evolves.
