Isapi Loader

Hello,

Wishing to free up some space, I notice that in the downloads folder, I have a folder named Isapi loader. I don’t remember downloading it and I don’t even know what it is for. After searching the internet, I'm still not any wiser. Could you explain it to me simply? Thank you :)

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 100.0.4896.127

    While waiting for a response from a potential user (which I am not), isapi loader mainly serves as a utility to open files (those that do not correspond to any of your usual applications) or as a format converter (from one file to another).

    Its presence in the download folder does not mean it has been installed. Since you did not request this download, you can simply delete the corresponding folder in Downloads, knowing that it is indicated on this site that it is better to download from the publisher's site, which we cannot easily verify.

    You can check if it is listed in the applications from the Windows button (letter i) and decide to uninstall it since you apparently do not use it.

    It may be a trial version (at best) or a suspicious version installed without your knowledge during another installation.
