Hello, I need help. I recently acquired a Sony Walkman (WM-6) and the belt needed to be changed, so I replaced it with a new belt matching the model, but when listening to a cassette, the playback speed was very slow.
I would like to fix this issue and have perfectly stable playback...
I do not know how to resolve this problem.
Here are the photos of the disassembled Walkman:

Hello,
The belt might be too tight.
Needs oil for the engine and the pivots, and lithium-based grease for the mechanisms.
Then on the other side of the engine, there should be a small hole with a speed adjustment potentiometer. -
Hello, thank you for your reply. I just found a way to fix the small hole on the side of the walkman, the problem is that I don't know which tools to use to fix it…

Normally it should adjust from the other side, here we see the bottom of the trimmer.
Although it may be intended this way because it wouldn't go the other way.
You see on the left there is like a half-moon
You can insert a needle into it and push it from one side or the other to make it turn. -
