Hello everyone,
My HP Officejet Pro 6970 is printing less and less well in color. Despite using new official HP cartridges, several cleanings, and alignments of the print heads, I constantly have strange yellow streaks on my color prints, and the phenomenon seems to be getting worse.
Of course, since this printer is no longer under warranty, HP's customer service will tell me that I need to buy a new one. I refuse to do that; I’ve already fallen for that trap.
Given the symptoms, I think the print head is dirty or damaged. However, I can't find any videos or technical documentation online to clean or replace it manually.
I want to emphasize that I have always only used official HP cartridges.
So, are there any people here who know how to manually clean or even replace the print head?
Thank you for your previous help. :)
Best regards,
Proxinite.

Hello
You can watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao-_iasByZ8.
But you need to avoid the "brute force" method because the plastic parts are very fragile.
See you later

If the answer helped you, a little thumbs up would be great... If it’s resolved, that’s perfect.
Let him who has never opened a user manual throw the first mouse ;-)

I have a problem with black ink! I'm waiting for new HP cartridges and will see. I had contacted HP who told me to change the printer two years ago.
They had a cartridge issue, -a major retailer whose name I will withhold informed me- which caused a head problem and... "planned obsolescence".... I called HP and mentioned this issue, and as if by chance, it worked with the new cartridges! So I'm waiting for the new ones and I'll see.... remote service debugging??
