Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to link 2 (or more) text boxes in Writer.

More concretely, I have created a text document that contains different areas.
One of the dropdown menus corresponds to the list of municipalities in a department.

I would like a text box created right next to it to automatically display the postal code of the selected municipality from the dropdown menu.

Is this possible in Writer?

    You're confusing the characteristics and functionalities of different software: Calc, Writer, Publisher ...

    Hello,

    You could proceed with mail merge.
    A data source, a Writer document with its prepared fields that would be populated by the mail merge.
