Hello,
When I use my mobile phone on 4G to download data (and not for phone calls), I connect through a 4G antenna from my operator. A public IP address (that of the 4G antenna) is assigned to me by my operator. During this connection, several users share the same public IP address at that moment. I would like to know if my operator could know not my IP address but my subscriber phone number during the data download? (I don't have a VPN). :-)

Hello,
Yes, it's obvious;
Your operator, when you surf the net, knows that the 06 XX ... used XGo of internet on the antenna of X city at such time, with X ip etc etc-
Thank you for your response. So if I install a VPN, my IP address as well as the websites visited will be hidden from my provider, but they will still have a record of my connection via 4G through my phone? Is that correct? :-)
- He will know that you connected to a remote NAT
or rather the investigators will know, because your provider doesn't care about what you do, but they have to account for what you do wrong, so they record what you do, they are obliged to.
