Hello,
I have a Sharp LC-55CUF8472ES television that was working until today as I performed a firmware update due to the non-functioning remote control (pairing request that did not work).
I downloaded a firmware update from the SHARP website onto a USB drive (unzipped file) and then unplugged the TV, installed the USB drive into a USB port on the TV, and turned it on. Then, I got the screen "SOFTWARE UPGRADE Complete" 100%. The Power button is flashing white and red.
When I restart the TV, I get the "Please select an OS Language" 1/6 screen, but on top of this screen, I have a message on a black background "The pairing is successful," but it is impossible to press OK with the remote control.
As a side note, the Power button continues to flash. It stops when I press the pairing buttons Blue and Yellow on the remote control. But, after about 8 seconds, it starts flashing again.
I don't know what to do anymore.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Édouard,
It could be a problem of circuit overload, not sure, but it’s worth trying this which sometimes works:
Unplug it and create a short circuit between the two pins of the socket with a wire, paperclip, etc...
Of course, do not plug it back in
Wait an hour, remove the wire or paperclip and plug it back in
