Hello,
Thank you for your welcome, I am new to this site.
My question concerns my TV, a LG model 42LF652V, the issue is the following: subtitles appear without me asking for them, I went into the settings, I unchecked the "enable subtitles" function, but after some time, "a few hours," the subtitles come back. I did a factory "RESET," the problem still persists, I changed the remote control just in case, but nothing works. I don't have a decoder, the TV is receiving signal via an antenna.
If anyone has a solution to my problem, other than taking it to the dump? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your response. It happened to me with 8 and 12, but the worst part is when I uncheck the subtitle box, it works for a few moments, I change the channel, and when I go back to the channel where I had the subtitles, the subtitles come back. I wonder if it's not the TV that doesn't remember? What do you think? I called LG France and they said it's simple, they no longer repair TVs under 45 inches.

Hello,
You say you don't have a decoder... No TV box either?
On the remote control, there is, on the bottom buttons, depending on the model of the remote, a Subtitle button (on the left) or Subt (on the right), isn't this button being accidentally pressed?
Is this indeed the procedure you followed to uncheck the subtitles?
Check again.

Thank you for your response. I went to the setting you mentioned, I disabled it, and at the same time I went into the settings where the option was also disabled, and in the end it comes back, it's crazy but real. What to do, I'm lost. If you have another idea, thank you in advance.

Indeed, I have neither a box nor a decoder; the digital terrestrial decoder is built into the TV by default. I apologize for not answering your first question.

Hello and thank you. My TV is an OLED65B9 LG. I called LG, and they told me it’s an issue with certain TNT channels that activate the subtitles, like the LCI channel. I have to disable them every time I watch this channel and other channels. Thank you.

Can you send us a photo of these subtitles on LCI channel 26
