Hello everyone, it's Cdbvs
I'm using Win XP, with no problems.
I would like to know if you've heard about this update against the security vulnerability KB4500331 for Windows XP and Windows 7?
I'm not sure what to think about it? Is it true or is it actually a trojan that will mess up my PC?

Thank you for your help and see you soon.

Hello
1) There haven't been any updates for XP for a long time.
2) If you have the latest service pack from Microsoft for XP, you have all the latest fixes that were available.
XP is no longer protected anyway. The only way to use it securely is to have a good antivirus if any still exist, or to be very careful about what you click, or better yet, not to go on the internet at all.
Best regards

Hi Madmyke,
Is that why I came to CCM? To find out if this update link regarding the security vulnerability KB4500331 is legit or if it's a scam? A trojan, why not?
However, it does seem like the official Microsoft site! When looking for information on the security vulnerability KB4500331, we come across this page: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/4500331/windows-update-kb4500331
Which redirects to Microsoft Update Catalogue.
It might be an important patch for Microsoft to offer it for Windows XP, or at least it did since the article is from 2019!?
Thank you and see you soon.
