TV Thomson, the display darkens.
Hello,
My parents' TV has a problem, and I would like to know if it can be repaired.
The display is darkening everywhere; it started with a spot at the top, and now almost the entire screen is very dark, and the "backlight" option is no longer available in the settings (grayed out).
It’s a Thomson 40FA5403.
What do you think we should look for?

PS: They bought an Oceanic to replace it, wow what a piece of junk, unclear image, colors not at all faithful, dark brown appearing orange, black appearing blue (I've never seen blue tar lol), no adjustments possible, even for troubleshooting it’s borderline lol.
